NSW: NSW farmers to receive continued drought support.

Fresh crops .. and new money are easing the load for farming communities across NSW.

Primary Industries Minister IAN MACDONALD says recent widespread rain and good crops
have brought relief to some farmers .. but over half the state's still in drought.

He's announced new money to help areas which will do it tough through summer.

The drought transport subsidy .. due to end this week .. is being extended until the
end of February .. and fresh funding will see the scheme for drought support workers
run for another six months.

Mr MACDONALD says rain is still desperately needed in the south and south-west of the state.
